Pages spend day at state house with Senator Houchin

Salem Middle School student Ellie Spaulding, along with homeschooled students Isaiah Dufour and Joseph Wallace, recently spent the day at the Indiana State House with Senator Erin Houchin. 

Pages spend the day touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senators.

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
