Public hearing Tuesday about EW superintendent contract

Just before the start of the regular East Washington Board meeting on Tuesday, July 23, at 6 p.m., the board will conduct a public hearing on consideration of a proposeed employment contract for Superintendent Dennis Stockdale for 2020-2023.

The proposed contract will stipulate the annual salary be $131,229 with the following additional benefits: annuity contribution to 403(b) ($6,561), long-term disabililty insurance ($379.32), Life/ADD insurance on a $200,000 policy ($480) and teacher retirement fund ($11,154.47), with a benefits total of $18,574.79.

At the public hearing, the governing body will discuss and hear objections to and support for the proposed superintendent contract and addendum.

The meeting will be held at the East Washington Administration office board room.
