Saturday Science is Oct. 27

The Salem High School Science Club will host its annual "Saturday Science" on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon. This activity is open to all 3rd, 4th and 5th graders and takes place in the science labs of Salem High School.

This year students will explore the very small with microscopes in the biology rooms, create explosions in the chemistry lab and learn about sound in the physics area.

Each student will bring home an experiment and will get a snack during the morning. The cost of this fun, educational adventure is only $15 per child or $20 for a family. All proceeds help the science club do research, go to competition, fund scholarships and take their annual trip.

Students will receive a paper from their teacher to sign up or you can sign up by emailing John Calhoun at jcalhoun@salemschools.com.g
