The Salem Community Schools Board will vote on around $13 million worth of projects for all three buildings and the athletic fields this afternoon during a meeting at the administration building.

Superintendent Lynn Reed and Assistant Superintendent Kim Thurston discussed the proposed projects during a community dinner on March 6 and other Salem Leader stories have outlined them as well, along with the taxpayer impact.

Projects include much-needed repairs to the middle school pool, a renovation of the elementary gym, the addition of band and choir rooms at the high school, artificial turf on the football field, lights at the baseball field and more.

You can read more about the projects and how they’ll be paid for here.
