Student belongings pick-up at EWSC
East Washington families will be able to pick up student personal belongings from the 2019-20 school year on June 2-4.
Pick up times will be from noon each day until 6 p.m.
Based on guidance from the Washington County Health Department, parents and/or students will not be allowed in the buildings. Instead, parents or students will walk up to the designated area at each building to pick up the items.
Superintendent Dennis Stockdale said the original plan was to allow students to come into the locations to get their belongings, but the Washington County Health Department changed those plans.
He said the health department instructed the school corporation to keep students outside the building.
“When they pull up, we will have someone grab their bag of personal belongings and hand it to them outside of the door to the building,” Stockdale said.
Pick-up locations for each building include the Elementary School - Elementary Cafeteria (door 3); middle school gym (use back parking lot near tennis courts) and the high school cafeteria (use door near the yellow bell).
