Put your hand up if you like to win prizes. Now put it down because people are looking at you with your hand raised in the air, but the joke’s on them, because now you are fired up to win something.

All you have to do is come to the 2018 Leader Publishing Company’s Home and Garden Show, April 27 and 28 at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Put it on your calendar now. Friday hours are 5 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday hours 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Grand prizes will be available, four in total, one being a yard cart filled with essentials for a beautiful spring yard. In addition each booth, over 50 total, will offer a prize. Those prizes include a variety of $25 gift cards from various vendors, a stone bench from Salem Title, a hand-made wreath from Knapp Miller Brown and a movie basket complete with snacks from Great American Satellite.

Watch The Salem Leader and The Salem Democrat throughout the month of April for updates on prizes available. Details about the show can also be found on salemleader.com.

In addition to prizes, some vendors will have items for sale. Those booths include Pampered Chef consultant, Edith Sutcliff, Tupperware items from Monica Everage, Thirty One products from Belinda Howey and Scentsy wares from consultant, Melissa Ratliff.

Food will be available both days. Relay for Life will have raffle tickets available for a mini barn donated from Millers Mini Barns. A kids’ area will also be available for young attendees to decorate a rock.

So there will plenty to see and do and most importantly you can go home a winner and wave both hands in the air, if you like.
