Vet 102 program planned for beef cattle producers

Are you a beef cattle producer with cattle questions related medications and vaccintations?

If so, this program is for you.

Purdue Extension – Lawrence Co., Purdue Extension – Washington County, Feldun Purdue Ag. Center, and Spring Mill Veterinary Service are offering the Vet 102 program, a continuation of the Vet 101 program offered in 2017, on Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 6-8 p.m. at the Feldun Purdue Ag. Center (1117 IN 458, Bedford) to help answer all of your questions.

The following demonstrations and hands-on experiences will be included in the program: vaccination recommendations; equipment, medications, vaccinations, and tools to have on hand; record keeping; handling and preparing syringes; needle selection; weight estimation; and administering vaccinations in a variety of methods.

The program is free, but space is limited. RSVP’s are required to Purdue Extension – Lawrence Co. by Friday, November 2, 2018 by calling 812-275-4623.
