CARE to dance? Register now for clinic

Avery McCoskey performs during a recent dance clinic at Bradie Shrum. The upcoming clinic to benefit CARE is open to all children in the community.

Physical fitness is just one of many benefits dancing can bring to a child’s life. Participating in Amber’s Dance Studio clinic has another great benefit: CARE Pregnancy Center.
The Ambassadors of Amber’s Dance Studio invite all kindergarten to fifth grade students to participate in a dance clinic on Saturday, March 2. Proceeds from the event will benefit CARE.
There are a number of ways to pay the entry fee; $25 in cash is welcome, or stop by the studio and pick up a bottle to fill. You can also pay the fee with a package of diapers size NB-6, or baby wipes and shampoo. Gerber Gentle, Gerber Soothe, Similac Advance, or Similac Sensitive formula will cover the registration cost as well.
The Candy Land theme clinic will be held at Southern Hills Church in the gym from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The students will show off their hard work in a performance at the church at 6 p.m.
Registration and payment are due by Saturday, Feb. 16 at Amber’s Dance Studio, 54 Public Square, Apt. 200, Salem.
