Blue River Masonic Lodge egg hunt

Blue River Masonic Lodge will hold its annual Easter egg hunt on March 31.

A lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs will be served at 11 a.m., with the egg hunt beginning at noon.

The lodge is located on Highway 150 in Fredericksburg.

Canton UMC egg hunt

Canton United Methodist Church is holding an Easter egg hunt, rain or shine, on Saturday, March 24, at 1 p.m. The church is located at 1412 N. Canton Rd. The festivities include egg hunts, crafts, music, prizes, refreshments and fun for all ages. For more information, contact Rhonda Smith at 812-620-8557.

Pancakes with the Easter Bunny

Safe Harbor Christian Church, 3002 Murphy Rd., Memphis, will host a pancake breakfast Saturday, March 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. Pancakes will be made by Guiness World Record Flapjack Flipper Chris Cakes. The meal also includes sausage links and a drink. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under. The Resurrection story will be told and free pictures with the Easter Bunny will be taken. An egg hunt will take place at 11 a.m. for kids 10 and under. All proceeds will go to missions.

Legacy Church to host 12th annual Easter egg event

Legacy Church will be hosting the 12th Annual Easter Egg Event on March 31, from 12-4 p.m. at the Salem Community Park. This event started with around 4,000 eggs and has grown to over 12,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes.  Legacy Church provides an egg hunt for all ages and will have a special needs egg hunt again this year as well. There will be drawings for prizes such as tickets from the Louisville Zoo, Indianapolis Speedway, cinemas, bicycles, and much more. Easter events at New Hope UMC

On Good Friday, March 30, New Hope United Methodist Church will be open for a time of reflection and prayer. Pastoral staff will be on hand for those wanting to be prayed for or with. At 7 p.m. the church will show the movie, “The Case For Christ.”

On Easter Morning, April 1, the church will have a Sonrise service at 8 a.m., which will be followed by a pitch-in breakfast at 9 a.m. The service will begin at 10 a.m.; the choir will present the Easter Cantata.
