Mayor offers help to those in need

From the City of Salem Mayor's office: 

If anyone doesn’t have electric and needs a warm place to stay, they can call the mayor’s office at 812-883-4265. We will open the senior center.

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL SHELTER; NO FOOD.

If someone needs to stay after normal business hours of the senior center, contact the Salem Police Department at 812-883-5100. They will make sure the center is open.

People may shower at the YMCA.
