Races develop in city primary

Two races have developed in the city primary. Both are for city council seats.
In District 4, Gail R. Martin Napier has filed as a Republican and will face incumbent Wally Terkhorn in May.
In District 1, Democrat incumbent Warren “Truck” Jones is being challenged by Rick Stewart.
Thus far, no one has filed for the District 3 or at-large seats.
Republican Justin Green is unopposed in his bid for the mayoral seat at this point. Incumbent Clerk-TreasurerSally Hattabaugh (R) also currently has no challenger.
The deadline to file is at noon Feb. 8.
