Alford N. Case, Jr., 84, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on May 8, 1934 in Lawrence County, Indiana, the son of the late Alford N Case Sr. and Margaret Ellen (Dixon) Case.
Alford graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1952. He was a retired Plant Operator for Stucker Fork Water Treatment Plant in Austin, Indiana, where he worked for 20 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and John Case and a sister, Elizabeth Hassfurther.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Muriel E. (Miller) Case; two sons, Jeff Case and wife Nancy and Jerry Case all of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Roger Case of Nabb, Indiana and Gene Case of New Albany, Indiana; a sister, Belinda Lyvers of Charlestown, Indiana; four grandchildren, Stacy, Elaine, Amanda and Lindsey and three great grandchildren, Hannah, Gabriel and Cason.
Graveside Service: 12:30 pm Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Cravens Cemetery in Vienna, Indiana with Phil LaMaster officiating. Visitation: 10 am to 12 noon Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
