Lucy Reddick, 77, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at The Waters of Clifty Falls. She was born on January 28, 1941 in Combs, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lee Allen Lewis and Edith (Shepherd) Lewis.
Lucy was a former housekeeper for the U.S. Army at Ft. Hood, Texas, a former employee at the old U.S. Shoe Corp. in Madison, Indiana and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry and Mark Reddick and a daughter, Teresa Mae Plessinger.
Survivors include four sons, David Wilson and wife Lynn of Chillicothe, Ohio, Jim Gilbertson and wife Pam and Pete Gilbertson all of Madison, Indiana and Lyle R. Reddick and wife Mary of Cekonsha, Michigan; a daughter, Teri Fitzgerald and husband Andy of Madison, Indiana; two brothers, John Shepherd of Scottsburg, Indiana and Joe Asher of Combs, Kentucky; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
A Celebration of Lucy's Life will be held from 11 am to 1 PM Saturday, September 20, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home.
Interment will be at a later date in Scaffold Lick Cemetery in Lexington, Indiana.
