Rebecca Lowrance

Rebecca Lowrance, 88, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 31, 1929 in Sanders, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James Sanders and Mae (Acra) Sanders.
Rebecca graduated from Sanders High School in Sanders, Kentucky. She a retired employee of the old Stewart's Department Store in Louisville, Kentucky, a member of Sanders Baptist Church, enjoyed reading, gardening and taking care of her yard.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lowrance; two grandchildren, Sam Lowrance and Ron Lowrance, Jr.; a sister, Rosemary Ogden and a brother, Newt Sanders.
Survivors include her son, Ron Lowrance and his wife Alice of Lexington, Indiana; a daughter, Carol Neideffer of Bedford, Indiana; four grandchildren, Chris Lowrance and wife Bahar, Gwyn Pentzer, Michael Pentzer, Amy Lindley and husband Landon and Becky Lowrance and six great grandchildren, Kenton, Rebecca, Nick, June, Caroline and Samuel.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Sills officiating.
Visitation: 10 to 11 am Thursday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Ghent Cemetery in Ghent , Kentucky.
