Bonnie Woodard

Bonnie Marie (Wingler) Woodard, 89, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday morning, August 18, 2019.  She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in New Albany.  Bonnie was also active in the Daughters of the Union, Daughters of the American Revolution, VFW Post 1693 Auxiliary and American Legion Post 28 Auxiliary.  

She was born on November 13, 1929 in Campbellsburg, Indiana to the late Jessie and Zelma (Boston) Wingler.  Bonnie was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Woodard; siblings, Kermit Wingler, Alice Burk and Doris Cayce.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Mary Hall (Jeff); sons, William and Samuel Woodard; sister, Linda Holtrey; sister-in-law, Vickie Wingler;  granddaughters, Susan Marie Dougherty-Wilson (Shaun), Sandra Grace; and great-grandson, Harlan Wilson.

Cremation was chosen following Bonnie's wishes and she will be laid to rest privately at New Albany National Cemetery.  A reception of family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019 in the carriage house at St. Paul's Episcopal Church (1015 E. Main Street, New Albany, IN  47150).
