Emogene  Hein, age 88 of Salem, Indiana passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 10:00 pm, in Hampton Oaks Health Campus Scottsburg, Indiana.

Born January 26, 1931 in , Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Howard T. McFelea  and Betty D. (Ingram) McFelea.

She was a retired employee of Jeans Extrusions and a member of the First Christian Church of Salem         

On June 1, 1949 she married William B.  Hein, who passed away October 18, 1999.  She married  Robert L. Morris, who passed away February 21, 2008. 

Survivors include: Son Kent (Karen Albertson) Hein of Salem;  Daughter: Debra (Gerald) Thompson of Salem;  Brother: Tom McFelea of Columbus, Indiana; Sister: Maydene Law of Pekin;  5 Grandchildren: Tyson (Joann) Thompson, Jennifer (Justin) Pendygraft, Rachel (Chris) Long, Blair Thompson and Natalie (Marcus) Maddox; 1 Step granddaughter: Aslhley Durham;  6 Great grandchildren, Ashton, Ellie, Wyatt, Cash, Jett and Braylon and 4 Step great grandchildren: Serenity, Maddox, Hadly and Westlyn.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Tony McFelea and 1 sister, Taunita McFelea.

Visitation: 1 pm to 5 pm Sunday  and 9 to 11 am Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home  with Pastor Sid Dye officiating and Interment at Martinsburg Cemetery Pekin, Indiana.
