Ford Taylor III

Mr. Ford Taylor III, age 67, of Salem passed away Monday, February 18 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mr. Taylor was born March 28, 1951 in Clarksville, Indiana the son of Ford Taylor Jr. and Pauline Densford Taylor. He was of the Baptist faith. He was the former owner of Taylors and Sons Auto Body Shop for 50 years.

Ford is survived by his wife: Cathy McClure Taylor.  They were married August 9, 1968.  He is also survived by two sons:  Ford Taylor IV of Salem and Jeremy Taylor (April) of Greenwood, a daughter:  Paula Blair (Tommy) of Madison, a brother:  Matthew Taylor of Clarksville, four sisters:  Alice Taylor of Clarksville, Margaret Wiseman of Clarksville, Anna Tindall of Crestwood, Kentucky and Becky Redden  of Clarksville, 13 grandchildren:  Ford Taylor V, Allie Taylor, Karlie Taylor, Aiden Taylor, Lanie Taylor, Adalie Taylor, Whitley Burgan, Megan Burgan, Dillon Burgan, Isaac Taylor, Rachel Taylor, Ella Taylor and Travis Taylor, and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son:  Michael Taylor, a brother:  David Taylor and his parents. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow and then burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 12-4PM at the funeral home.
