Harlan Adamson

Harlan Kenneth Adamson, 81, Palmyra, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019. Harlan was born in Madison, Indiana on June 14, 1938, to Kermie Harland Adamson and Grace Elizabeth (Day) Adamson.

On Feb 1, 1963, he married Ruth (Grey) Adamson. Harlan was co-owner and operator of Adamson Nursery Inc. in Palmyra, IN. Harlan was a former bank director of First Harrison Bank in Palmyra. He was a member and deacon of the Indian Creek Baptist Church in Georgetown. He was a member of the Gideon International and Habitat for Humanity. Harlan graduated from Morgan Twp. High school Class of 1956 and served in the National Guard. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. Harlan loved to attend church activities, helping people out, and spending time with family.

Harlan is survived by his wife Ruth (Grey) Adamson, three daughters: Carolyn (Bruce) Stull, Darlene (Bill) Holz, and Denese (Bruce) Troncin; two brothers: Donald Lee (Louise) Adamson and Nelson Glenn (Betty) Adamson; two grandchildren: Grace Leona Troncin and Sydney Elaine Troncin also survive.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with entombment in Palmyra Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at Love Funeral Home and again Tuesday, after 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Gideon International at the Gideons International Processing Center. P.O.
