Jack D. Elliott

Jack D. Elliott, 76, entered eternal life on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at Meadow View Health & Rehab in Salem. 

He was born on August 16, 1943, to the late Robert J. Elliott and Anna H. Elliot.  Jack served his country honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam.  He was a police officer in Indianapolis for a few years and later retired from TNT Holland where he served as dispatcher.  Jack loved to watch IU Baseball, loved old cars and attending car shows.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lloyd M. Elliott.

Surviving are his wife, Faye Elliott, son, Scott Elliott, daughters, Melinda Elliott, Cheryl Elliott, Jackie Elliott and her significant other, Jim, Paula (Joe) Luebbe, Barbara (Lee) Blessett, grandchildren, Mandi Knowles, Shelby Knowles, Noah Elliott, Chris Webb, Mike Baker and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and anytime after 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association, 115 W.
