Margaret Williams Leathermon

Mrs. Margaret L. Williams Leathermon, age 87, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on April 9, 1931 in Washington County, Indiana near Salem. She was the loving daughter of the late Herman and Ruth Elizabeth White Williams. She was a 1951 graduate of Salem High School. On August 1, 1951 Margaret was united in marriage to D.H. "Dink" Leathermon in Madison, Indiana by Rev. Gronseth. This happy union of sixty years was blessed with the birth of three sons, Byron, Dale and Keith. Dink was soon inducted into the United States Army in 1951 and served during the Korean War. Margaret was a devoted wife, loving mom and grandma. She was employed for 25 years with Reliance Electric in Madison working in assembly and retired in 1995. For many years Margaret was a member of the Madison Assembly of God Church and was now a member of North Madison Baptist Church. She also enjoyed being a member of the Red Hatters, playing cards and going to the Ross Country Jamboree.  Margaret died on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 6:28 p.m. at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit of Norton Pavilion in Louisville, Kentucky.
A LOVING FAMILY
Margaret will be missed by her loving sons, Bryron Leathermon and his wife, Shirley of Lexington, Indiana, Keith Leathermon and his wife, Debbie of Madison, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Jennifer Hunger, Cassie Milhollin (Jason), Daniel Leathermon, Adam Leathermon, and Jenny Lee Hall (Dave); her adoring great grandchildren, Jacob Hunger, David Reynolds, Logan Milhollin, Allison Milhollin and Dylan Hall; her loving sisters, Maysel Renaker of Salem, Indiana, Evelyn Lloyd and her husband, Roger of Salem, Indiana; her brothers, Loren Williams and his wife, Brenda of Orleans, Indiana, Edward Williams and his wife, Wanda of Greenwood, Indiana; her sister in law, Donna Leathermon of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Williams, her mother, Ruth Elizabeth White Williams, her beloved husband of sixty years, D.H. "Dink" Leathermon, died August 23, 2011, and her son, R. Dale Leathermon, died June 20, 2009, her brother in law, Charles Renaker.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 22, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor Frank McGee at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.  Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, 9306 North US 421 near Madison, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
