Margarette Stephens

Margarette Stephens, 91, Avon, Indiana and formerly of Washington County, Little York area died on June 13, 2018, at Avon.

Born August 25 1926, in Washington County, she was the daughter of Oral Stanley Johnson and Nellie Fay Trueblood Johnson. She loved to quilt, baseball and was an avid reader. She retired after 30 years as corporate secretary with RCA in Indianapolis.

Survivors include a son: Larry Stevens; a grandson and caregiver: Chris Stevens & fiance’ Sara Roe; two great-grandsons: Cooper Stevens and Conner Stevens.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters: Helena Cox and Mary Jean Enochson.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Eden Cemetery, Washington County.
