Marvin E. Marshall

Mr. Marvin E. Marshall age 90 of Salem passed away Friday, February 9 at his home.

Mr. Marshall was born April 2, 1927 in Pierce Township, Washington County the son of Ralph and Leota Gayle Chastain Marshall.  He was retired from Naval Ordnance in Louisville.  He was a member of Canton Christian Church and Salem Senior Center and Pekin Senior Center.

He is survived by his wife:  Norma Lewellen Marshall.  They were married December 17, 1949.  He is also survived by a son:  Brian Eugene Marshall (Donna) of Salem, two daughters:  Cindy Lu Marshall (Allen Guenthner) of Salem and Carol Ann Marlman (Paul) of Salem, two sisters:  Betty McCoskey of Washington State and Lois Bobo of Salem, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter:  Karen Sue Hardy, four sisters:  Beulah Beams, Carolyn Pickett, Marilyn Coker and an infant, Rita, and his parents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 17 at 4:00PM at Salem Senior Center.  Visitation will be from 2PM until the time of service.
