Mary J. Russell

Mrs. Mary J. Russell, age 94, of Pekin, passed away Sunday, September 19 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.

Mrs. Russell was December 1, 1926 in Nelson County, Kentucky the daughter of Roy Orville Tinchenor and Martha Elizabeth Bodine Tinchenor.   She was a former employee of B.F. Goodrich in Salem and the Town of Pekin.  She was a member of Pekin Church of Christ.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband:  William R. Russell. She was also preceded in death by a brother:  C.L. Tinchenor and her parents.

She is survived by a daughter:  Martha Jackson (Richard) of Henryville, a brother:  Roy Tinchenor of Sellersburg, a sister:  Betty Neal of Taylorsville, Kentucky, two grandchildren:  Steve Jackson and Jared Jackson, three great-grandchildren:  Evan Jackson, Jordan Jackson and Logan Jackson, and 4 great-great-grandchildren:  Xander Jackson, Lyla Jackson, Kylie Greenwood, and Tristin Greenwood.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 27 at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home.   Burial will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 10Aam-time of service.
