Nannie Embry-Raymer

Palmyra IN: Nannie Alvaline Embry- Raymer, 92 of Palmyra, IN passed away peacefully on Thursday August 22, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 21, 1926 to William Oscar and Vida Vasti Tarrance in Jetson (Butler County) Kentucky. Nannie was a member of Charlestown Rd Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, potted plants, playing music and most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husbands, Audie Embry and William “Nophus” Raymer. Her Brothers Carmel Tarrance, Paul Tarrance, William Tarrance, Derral Tarrance, Raymond Tarrance and Dallas Tarrance as well as two sisters Jerline Grunwald and Geraldine Chandler.

She is Survived by her son Audie Dallas Embry a stepson Billy Raymer (Mary)  and her two daughters Nancy Dale Carroll (Gary)  and Shelley Karen McDonald (Morris), Six Grandchildren Kimberly Hoke (Jerold), Meri Sierra Embry, Gary Paul Carroll (Tonya), Shelley Polk (Jimmy), Amanda Lucas (DeMarco), and Adam Lucas (Sandy),  as well as 12 Great Grandchildren and a lifelong friend and neighbor Rickie Bradley

 Funeral services will be Monday August 26, 2019 10:30a.m. at Love Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Antioch Community Cemetery in Horsebranch, Kentucky. Visitation will be Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, August 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana.
