Philip James Patrick Habermel
Philip James Patrick Habermel, age 29 of Palmyra, Indiana passed away Monday, January 14, 2019, in his residence.Born on November 6, 1989 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, he was the son of Vivian Elizabeth Habermel, who survives him.
He had been a life resident of Harrison County and after graduating high school earned an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Ivy Tech in Sellersburg.
He was a former Respiratory Therapist at Clark County Hospital and was currently employed at Clean Water and Air Solutions in Georgetown.
Philip was an avid sportsman, played baseball, basketball and loved motorcycles and the outdoors.
Survivors include: Sister: Stephanie (Daniel) Habermel of New Albany, Indiana; Aunt: Patty (Mark) Nelson of Denver, Colorado; Uncle: Danny (Julie) Habermel of Salem, Indiana; Cousin: Darin (Rachel) Habermel of Madison, Wisconsin; Cousin: Morgan Habermel of Lexington, Kentucky; and several extended family members.
He was preceded in death by Frank and Ovada Habermel and Uncle, Frank Habermel II.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Saturday and 9 to 11 am Sunday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Sunday at Dawalt Funeral Home
