Ross Milton Branscum

Mr. Ross Milton Branscum, age 59, of Eminence, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 22 at Tennova Health Care in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Mr. Branscum was born December 20, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Milton Branscum and Tressie Johnson Broeker.  He was a semi -truck driver for IWX.  He also worked construction for Banta Construction.  He was a member of Blue Grass Bee Keeper’s and won Kentucky State Championship for Honey in 2005.  He was retired from farming and raising bees.  He was a member of Indiana National Guard and Kentucky Army Reserve. 

Ross is survived by his life companion:  Joyce Branscum, six daughters:  Jessica Heitzman (Shawn)  of Woodlawn, Tennessee, Jamie Powell of Louisville, Kentucky, Julie Sampson (Bert) of Houston, Texas, Jodi Findlay (Alex) of Apollo Beach, Florida, Stacy Gaither (Jeff) of Louisville, Kentucky, and Erin Hargan of Louisville, Kentucky, his father:  Milton Branscum of Salem, two brothers:  Tommy Branscum (Annette) of Tampa, Florida, and Curtis Branscum of LaGrange, Kentucky, four sisters:  Kathy Davenport (Mike) of Louisville, Kentucky, RoseMary Wineinger (Rodney) of Salem, Carolyn Deakins of Louisville, Kentucky, and Cathy Newton (Barry) of Campbellsville, Kentucky, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother:  Tressie Broeker in 2010, and his step-mother:  Pansy Branscum in 2018.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Kay’s Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 10AM-time of service.
