Ruben Gibson

Pekin, IN:  Ruben Dwayne Gibson, age 59, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 17, 2019.  Dwayne was born on August 6, 1959 in Salem, IN, to Rube and Mary Ann (Roberts) Gibson.  He worked at Blue River Farm Supply in Palmyra.  Dwayne enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family, fishing, hunting and loved being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rube and Mary Ann Gibson; his son, Jeremiah Gibson; and his sister, Carolyn Dalton.

Dwayne is survived by a daughter, Samara Colwell (Ryan) McPherson; three sons, Joshua (Sharon) Gibson, Lee (Jenny) Gibson, and Thomas (Jennifer) Gibson; his brother, Kenneth (Mary) Gibson; five sisters, Ruby Ann (Blonde) Andrews, Sharon Arnold, Janet Alton, Pauline (Mike) Mills, and Kathy (Kevin) Luce; as well as his 12 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, July 20, 2019 and again on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 1 pm to 2pm with the Funeral Service to follow at Love Funeral Home on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 2 pm.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, IN.
