Shawn Pearson Lodge after a 16-month battle with lung cancer passed peacefully on December 2, 2017.  Shawn was born August 19, 1964 in Madison, IN.  He grew up in Salem, IN., graduated from high school in Muscatine, IA., then graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa with a degree in Airframe & Powerplant maintenance.  He worked as an A&P Mechanic in the Airline Industry for many years, then as a manufacturing Service Engineer.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the Pittsburg Steelers and Indianapolis Colts.

His survivors include his parents John and Clyda Lodge, Denton, TX, one sister Shannon Lodge, Kansas City, three nieces and two nephews, a grandniece and grandnephew, two aunts and one uncle: Verliss Baugh, Madison IN, Lonice (Bob) Zollman, Scottsburg, IN and James (Sarah) Whicker, Bedford, KY.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Clyde & Katie Whicker and Jack & Betty Lodge. 

Shawn was cremated and there will be no service.  Donations in his memory may be made to your local Animal Shelter or Hospice Group.
