Salem wins big over Eastern, Senators win tight game over Perry

Lane Weddle tries to shake free of a tackle. Weddle had several big runs for the Lions and caught a long touchdwon through the air. 

Salem took adavantage of a number of turnovers and penalties to top Eastern 41-13 on Friday night to move to 4-3 on the season. Eastern kept up with Salem in the first half till turnovers took their toll and allowed the Lions to pull away. 

West Washington won a tight one over Perry Central 34-33. The Commodores had a chance to tie the game late but the Senators blocked an extra point that proved to be the difference in the game. For more on these games check out the Salem Leader on Monday.
