Salem wins thriller over EHS, will face WW in championship

The Salem bench clebrates their win over Eastern to head to the championship game.

For those who attended the Holiday Tournament on Friday night they were treated to a thriller right off the bat. Salem and Eastern battled it out in the opening game with both teams going back and forth in the final minutes but the Lions came out on top, clinching the 54-51 win to head to the championship.

The second game of the night featured much less drama. West Washington had their way with Borden from the jump and cruised their way to a 64-45 win to make their way to the championship.

Eastern will play Borden in the consolation game at 6 p.m. and Salem will play West Washington in the championship in the second game. Both games will be at Borden.
