Senators fall short in comeback bid

West Washington battled Trinity Lutheran tooth and nail but couldn't take down the Cougars. West Washington slowed the pace of the game down tremendously, but fell behind in the second half. They whittled an eight point lead down to just one, and had a chance to tie it with less than 10 seconds left in the game but couldn't get a shot to fall, losing 39-34.
