Senators Win Thriller Over Salem

There have been many contests between the Lions and Senators over the years, but few were probalby as intense and dramatic as the most recent one. West Washington won an overtime thriller 48-47. It was back and forth for both teams throughout with turnovers a plenty. Salem tied the game up with a three from Brody Pepmeier with 5.1 seconds left to send it to overtime. Salem held a two point lead with just 2.4 left to play. West Washington went the length of the court with two passes, a drible, and Nash Huff just barely getting a shot off as the buzzer sounded to drain a three and send the blue portion of gym into a frenzy.
