The Salem Lions boys’ soccer team kept their season alive on Tuesday night by beating Scottsburg in the opening round of the 2A sectional 31.

The Lions got some revenge after falling to the Warriors a few weeks ago 3-1. This time it was the Lions coming out on top 4-2.

The Lions got two first half goals from Bryan Hamilton to build their cushion before Levi King and Nick Noel added goals to give the Lions more breathing room. They were set to play North Harrison on Wednesday night for a shot to play in the sectional championship. They beat the Cougars in the last game of the regular season on Saturday 3-2.
