Weekend sporting events include Salem vs Eastern and Bill Cope supper.
Xavier Haendiges slashes to the bucket agaisnt Eastern in the Holiday Tournament Championship back in December.
There is a full weekend of sports action in the county starting on Thursday night. West Washington girls will host Paoli for a chance at the PLAC championship. Salem girls will host Austin to close out the regular season on Thursday night as well. The Lady Musketeers will travel to Henryville.
On Friday Salem boys will host Austin as well as their homecoming festivities. West Washington will travel to North Harrison. Eastern will host Mitchell.
On Saturday night Salem will travel to Eastern for a county rivalry showdown. They will also host a silent auction for the Musketeer Booster Club. The annual Bill Cope Chili Supper will also be Saturday night before the game. It will also be Coaches vs Cancer night and money will be collected for the American Cancer Society. West Washington will host New Washington on Saturday night as well.
