Lucy lived in a time that taught the importance of family. No matter what, you had each other. She knew and taught her children to work hard, care for each other, love, help, listen, and forgive. She was spunky, and was known to speak her mind. She loved her family, and showed repeatedly that she would do anything for them. Until it became too difficult, there was not a game that she would miss whether in the heat of the day or an all-nighter softball tournament. She ran the roads constantly to visit or lend a helping hand to family members all over. Bingo was her favorite thing, and she always had a story of a near miss.
Lucy lived, worked, and raised her family in Campbellsburg, IN. She worked for BF Goodrich for over 25 years, and later retired from Greene County General. She has lived the last 30 years in Bloomfield, IN.
