Clothing giveaway

Fellowship Baptist Mission Center will host a clothing giveaway for children, adults, and seniors on Saturday, Oct. 16, at W. U.S. Hwy. 150, Hardinsburg. Many families are struggling with job loss and illnesses related to the pandemic and they want to help.

The church typically takes clothing every year to a school in Eastern Kenutcky, but this year they have decided it would be a great opportunity to keep clothing, and household items local. Organizer feel the need and opportunity is great in our own area and decided to collect clothing and distribute locally. It is important and necessary to aid those in the community. They have been supported by many in the community the past 17 years who donate clothing to be used for those who may need them. Many of the supporters collect all year and begin delivering to the church in September. Without the support and generosity of those in the communities, this partnership would not have sustained these many years.

To participate please visit the church on Saturday morning Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon. Take what you need and need what you take.
