Landfill closed for Monday

Washington County Landfill and Recycling Center will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Regular hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the first and third Saturdays of each month from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The landfill entrance is at 2683 N. Highland Rd., Salem. Call 812-883-4811 for more information.
