Free Movie At John Hay Center This Saturday

The John Hay Center will be playing the movie "Watcher In The Woods" on Saturday, Mar. 2, 7 p.m. at The Depot Railroad Museum, 206 S. College Ave., Salem.  There is no charge to watch the film, and free candy and popcorn will be provided.

"The Watcher In The Woods" is a Disney cult classic starring Bette Davis, Lynn-Holly Johnson and Kyle Richards. It follows a family who become entangled in supernatural happenings after moving to their new home in the English countryside. The use the occurance of an eclipse to solve a spooky decades-long mystery.

This is the second of three movies that the John Hay Center has presented as part of their many activities leading up to the total solar eclipse on Monday, Apr. 8.  The first movie, "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court," was presented on Feb. 3. 

The final movie in the series will be "Little Shop of Horrors" on Saturday, Apr. 6.  It will start at 7 p.m. at The Depot Railroad Museum.

The public is encouraged to attend.  There is no cost for the movie and snacks, but donations would be greatly appreciated.
