Mr. Larry E. Barnett, age 72, of Salem, passed away Friday, October 22 at his home.

Larry was born July 4, 1949, in Campbellsburg, Indiana the son of George Barnett and Alice Tankersley Weis. He was retired from American Life Insurance Company. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Larry is survived by his wife: Janet Taflinger Barnett they were married July 8, 1967. He is also survived by a son: Rob Barnett (Stephanie) of Salem, a daughter: Missy Engleking (Dave) of Salem, a brother: Jack Barnett of Salem, three sisters: Karen Casey, and Penny Stroud, both of Salem, and Becky Naugle of Richmond, KY, 6 grandchildren: Jeremy Shell, Nathan Bowling, Levi Barnett, Chase Cain, Destiny Cain, and Makayla (Katie) Barnett, and two great-grandchildren: Laken and Chayton Shell.

He was preceded in death by a sister:  Paulette Miller.

Cremation was chosen there will be no services.
