Clarksville’s Little Theater held a fundraiser with entertainment provide by Carrie and Jeff Ketterman. The Ketterman’s preform a revue of the classic “I Love Lucy Shows.”

This show provided a beginning history of the show from the early radio days.  Many of the original classic sitcom skits were reproduced by the red headed Carrie (Lucy) and Jeff (Desi) with a Cuban accent. Just as in the TV show, Lucy lacking talent, always wanted to be in Rick’s shows.

One of the funniest skits acted out was the “Vitmeatavegamin” featuring Lucy trying to make the show in this commercial. There was only one problem the supplement contented 27 % alcohol leading to an over relaxed Lucy. Lucy would always up stage Rick.

The show lasted one hour and provided many memories of the “I Love Lucy Show.”

The admission was free, but donations could be given to Ethel and Fred Mertz in the outside hall.

Like many venues, the theatre’s schedule has been  turned upside down by COVID and is ready to come back this season.

This was a one show event, but support and check their Facebook page for upcoming events.
