Salem and Eastern get friendly sectional draws

While the teams for Super Bowl 55 were being sorted out, the Indiana High School Athletic Association had other business to take care of. The pairings for the girls' state basketball tournament were announced. 

All three teams found themselves on opposited sides of the bracket from the team most would consider one of the possible favorites. Salem, which is ranked number two in Class 3A, wouldn't have to play the number one ranked team in Class 3A until the championship. 

Eastern wouldn't have to play Crawford County until the final game and West Washington wouldn't face Trinity Lutheran until the championship.
